Free Colorectal Cancer Screening at Memorial Hospital

(Belleville, Illinois) Memorial Hospital is offering a free colorectal cancer screening on Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the GI/Endoscopy Lab. Medical professionals will be available to privately help determine if you are at risk for developing colorectal cancer and answer any questions you may have. There is no physical examination involved, but advanced registration is required.

Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or large bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. With 655,000 deaths worldwide per year, it is the fifth most common form of cancer in the United States.
